BLAKE vr

On this morning of 12 of may.

room 1 went to the multi purpose to enjoy some VR and experience the ocean. Seeing the fishes really scared me, but i enjoyed seeing all the stingrays and i was definitely shocked to see how people treat the ocean. and we need to learn to stop showing for too long, and to not fish at a safe marine place, so we can treat the ocean the way we can be treated

Term 2 goals/student voice

What is your goal and how are you going with it?

My goal is to get the Arts award. I’m gonna try to perform pacific, Kapa haka, anything that shows my confidence. And it’s going pretty well. I’m rising to the challenge of being one of the pacific leaders.

What are you looking forward to for the year

Doing performances, I guess?

Which curriculum area do you enjoy, most and why

Maybe some math or reading

Mothers day writing

Why are mothers important?

They help us grow, learn and feel loved

In this explanation I will share the reason why mothers are so special and the important role that they play in our family and community.

Mothers help you be yourself and make sure your okay, just as if you fall, they help you get back up

¨try again!!¨

¨Do it properly or else I´ll give you a hiding¨

rather if your hungry Mum is there, or if your feeling down on yourself your mum is there

Maybe you get sick your mum is there

Mothers make you feel important, comfortable , special, Maybe sad because they discipline you for a reason like something stupid that you did but it’s called tough love (yea right…)

Why is your mother special??

About NED

Today, Ruapotaka school  went to the Multipurpose room to watch a performance by NED. Most of the kids Enjoyed themselves with laughter as the seniors were being ‘’Haters’’ just kidding…

(or am I,,)

Resilience

Sean was teaching us about Resilience and always remember that Mistakes are okay

And also how teachers have to spend their time teaching us, like its a very good lesson to treat each other respectfully or how u can enter your dreams, he would say ¨ Never give up¨

Sean was a professional yoyo trickster. He started to show some cool moves like ¨DNA¨ which made kids gag as they thought it was free (it wasn’t..) But  he showed a unique way of how you could play with a yoyo. At the end people started to gather around to look at the new yoyos

Which was 16 dollars for the basic one, 20 for a faster yoyo, 25 for a bigger and cool yoyo

(but seriously 25 dollars??!!)

Later on Sean showed us what NED meant

N-Never give up

E-Encourage others

D-Do your best

It was a Goofy and cool show but it had a good meaning behind The NED show showed some of us how to bounce back and Never give up And also how to bring others up “Encourage others” he told us to do our best because what happens if u don’t do your best?? You never know
